Financial Aid

While the primary responsibility for paying for a student's tuition and fees rests with her family, St. Margaret's is often able to bridge the gap between the cost of attending SMS and a family's ability to meet those costs. Financial aid awards are granted on the basis of demonstrated parental need. A student's potential to succeed academically and become a contributing member of the St. Margaret's community are also considered. Apply Online - The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) offers a website for the School and Student Service for Financial Aid: SSS Online. By offering web-based options for families, SSS Online provides around-the-clock access to the industry-leading financial aid need analysis program for private schools. Apply online for faster results at www.nais.org/financialaid/sss - click SSS Online and then the blue “Parents” box and follow the directions. Parents can save their Parent Financial Statement (PFS) and return to complete it at a later date. Note that the online version requires the use of a credit card to pay the processing fee.

Please contact the Admission office for a paper copy of the form if you do not have access to this website.
